Personality*
Curious; that alone sums up Marimo. And because of that she can sometimes seem intrusive or nosy. It's not that she's trying to stick her nose where it doesn't belong but more that she finds everyone she meets to be new and exciting and therefore wants to know all about them. She tends to speak before thinking and sometimes she asks questions that would have been better left unsaid.

She's usually a rather cheerful individual, and doesn't have any issues striking up conversation. She loves to show off her "treasures" as well, and tell the stories of how she came to get them. It really makes her happy when she learns what something actually is, as in most cases she just makes guesses. There is a bit of an innocence about her, as she has an active imagination. She likes to dream up all sorts of adventures about what she could find out in the world...mainly in bodies of water.

Marimo isn't afraid to voice her opinions either. And when she's been pushed to her breaking point, she has been known to snap and make digs at others; though usually ends up apologizing once her mood improves. It's pretty hard to get on her bad side, but she has little tolerance for rude individuals. And in most cases she just avoids those types that would push her and make her upset.  Be kind to her and she will be kind in return.

She doesn't really seem to notice her bio-luminescence, and therefore may not realize if her glow is bothering those around her. It can be a good indication of her mood as well, for example if she's startled she will light right up, but if her glow seems low or dull it may be a sign she's in poor mood or not feeling well.

Likes:  Shiny things, exploring, collecting "treasures" from lakes and the deep end of the school pool, dark places, fresh fish, diving practice

Dislikes: Being scolded by others, being treated like a child, huge fish, humorless beings, too much home work, not getting at least one daily swim in, clothing (it's so itchy and shells make much better statement)

Brief History:
Marimo hatched alone. None of the other Zora ever told her what exactly happened to her parents, just that there was an accident. But even though she was an orphan, she had plenty of others around. She was basically a ward of all the other members of Zora's Domain, and for the most part she was happy, though she did always wonder what it was like to have an actual family. There was one older zora boy, by the name of Trench, who often took her under his fin. If she got in trouble, it was usually with him first.

Always curious, she did tend to get in trouble. She loved to dive and explore and sometimes she swam off to do so without any supervision. However getting scolded didn't seem to have much effect on her, time and time again she was caught doing what she wasn't suppose to. She didn't purposely mean to cause trouble, she just got easily distracted by her desire to see everything she could. This happened a lot during her early schooling. Being in High School has reigned her in a little, but it's due to being stuck exploring mainly the school pool. The deep end can be interesting though, especially when people have lost things in it.
