Personality: Sophie was shy and quiet as a child. And she is still somewhat like that, however through her training she did come out of her shell some. She's a bookworm type, and loves to read, is often thought as the typical intellectual type. However she has a rebellious streak and enjoys a little mischief now and then. Don't be surprised if she pranks a customer just for a good laugh. Over all she's friendly but does have a strange almost haunting vibe about her.

It's important to note that because she spent so much time with books, Sophie kind of speaks like one. She doesn't always pick up on behaviors and social traits because what she knows comes from what she's read. Expressions and figures of speech are often lost on her.

History: She was born to her parents,a proud and high ranking Dragon Knight and a tough Mercenary. Though her mother had retired after marriage to raise her family. Of course they hoped their daughter would follow in their footsteps; even trying to match her right away with a Pokemon companion. Her father, a Salamence and her mother a Kingdra, presented her with a Dratini when she was three but she seemed to have no interest in it at all.

That's when they started to notice things about their daughter. She was quiet and liked to sleep all day and be up at night. She liked to be in the dark and never really went out to make friends. As they tried to teach her their skills so she too could be a warrior, she always seemed to daydream or just not listen. Yet being the proud warriors they were, they kept pushing, and she began to grow distant from her family. Her father was sure that she could be powerful and though not able to be a knight, she could still perhaps work at the palace as a strong, proud, Dragon type.

When she was 16 she was already rebellious and had been sneaking out of her room every night to wander the town. One night she was just leaving her home and saw a Shuppet float by; curious she followed and it led her to and old and abandon looking home. A place that only an upper class family could afford. She'd seen it many times and heard rumors of it being haunted, but she never went near it. Seeing the ghost go inside though she narrowed her eyes and followed. What she found was a building full of ghosts and she was amazed.

The Shuppet floated down a hall to main room, and as she followed she came upon a young man, Lucien. He was standing in front of a fire place, a Haunter hovering around him. When he turned to look at her he smiled and said he knew she was coming because one of the ghosts had used Futuresight and told him. He was a mysterious person, only a couple years older than her and she continued to visit him every night. Finally after a couple weeks he told her he was a Nethermage and that she was going to be his apprentice. That it was fated and the following night she was presented with her new partner, a Chandelure.

She continued to sneak out every night to learn her new trade; her partner living at the home Lucien had so she wouldn't be found out. But her parents were getting suspicious since now and then she seemed to be up early in the mornings, only because she was just getting home. And finally they questioned her. When she told them what she was doing they were horrified. They considered that job morbid and unfitting for their daughter. They told her to quit but she angry turned and stormed off, going to her teacher, who she'd grown attached to like an older brother, and never returned home. It has been since then that her parents disowned her. When asked they will simply say they do not have a daughter.

A year later she came down for her nightly lesson to see that Lucien had changed. Everything about him physically looked somewhat different. He told her he finally decided to bond with his partner, his Haunter and become one being. He'd been able to for some while but never acted on it. However he felt he was finally ready and became a Gijinka. She was amazed and wanted to know if that was something she could do. She felt that her partner and her were close and the idea seemed so intriguing. He smiled and told her that if she kept studying he would show her how.

It was on her 18th birthday that he showed her how to bond with her Pokemon. The two having easily become inseparable. The ghost already seemed like it was a part of her. Merging opened a whole new world to her and she knew she would only grow stronger now that she had. And since then she has continued to be under his training. Learning about the world of spirits and ghosts and helping him take on jobs.

She still is in training even at her current age, always working around the guild house to keep it in good order. Whens she isn't tending to such things she is studying in the library, which is her favorite room in the manor.

Additional Info:
-Outfit note: The rounded middle part is semi-transparent fabric like the rounds on the shoulders. (just so you know she isn't like a balloon there in the mid-section)

-When Sophie says she wants to study someone, she can almost seem like a stalker. She doesn't really know she's doing anything wrong, to her she is just observing and learning about her subject.

-Sophie's last name is Saggio. However she doesn't usually tell people because of her disconnect with her family. People are usually shocked when she tells it because her father's name is well known as he is a Captain.

-The name of the Chandelure she merged with was Lanteen. When Lanteen takes over, usually because Sophie has over studied and is in a stupor from not sleeping, Sophie will appear to be speaking with a slight French like accent. Lanteen often asks odd questions as she does not really understand human life... usually leading to Sophie's embarrassment when she finds out the ghost was chatting with those she knows.

- Sai is a Shuppet that follows Sophie around. He was newly hatched when she was the first thing he saw. Sophie believes the ghost thinks she is his mother. Sometimes he chews on her books.

- Sophie has an old brother but she knows nothing of him. Her parents never mentioned him because at the age 8 he ran away. Little does she know that he may soon return to being part of her life.

- Currently Sophie is in a relationship with Vitalis, a Jolteon. She worries about his safety because of his job and because he seems to vanish from time to time. Though he has always come back to her and she feels like she can full trust that he always will.

- Now and then when she get flustered, her hair actually becomes flames. She's been known to accidentally start fires.
