Blossom Town: Ruby

Little note on her design, she was inspired by 1950's diner style. And her colors are yellow cake, chocolate frosting, whipped cream and a cherry on top.

Personality: Sassy and witty, Ruby is a bit of a firecracker. She can be a little blunt now and then but it isn't meant to be rude. She's just the no-nonsense type. However she is very friendly and upbeat. She can have a bit of a temper, which is often physically apparent because she puffs up her cheeks in frustration. All and all she's a take no guff kind of girl with a spunky attitude.

History: Ruby was born in Blossom Town and mainly raised by her grandmother. Being the granddaughter of the bakery owner, she spent a lot of time in the kitchen and learning to bake. However as the town fell on hard times, the shop lost it's luster. Ruby always wanted to take over someday, having learned to love making all sorts of delicious treats. So when her grandmother decided to close up shop, she was devastated. Ruby refused to let the bakery close completely though, and as a teen, did her best to sell cakes and treats on the streets of town. When the town was revived and life began to return to it, Ruby's grandmother gave her the bakery to re-open. The first thing she did was give it a make over. Her grandmother had been very prim and proper and the bakery reflected that. It was decorated like a elegant tea parlor. Ruby was far from a elegant lady, and decided the building needed to have a wider appeal. She painted the outside to look like it was built from cookies, decorated with icing and chocolate. And inside she gave the bakery a fun and upbeat diner like style. With the remodeling done and the town slowly coming back to life, Ruby is ready to be the next generation baker to take the villagers by storm with her wondrous treats.

Additional info:
-Ruby is afraid of chickens. When she was little her grandmother took her to a farm to get some eggs. When she tried to collect some, a chicken pecked at her and chased her out of the hen house.

-Ruby loves dogs and along with her treats for people, she makes dog treats to sell.

-Ruby is Farsighted and without her glasses can't gauge the distance of objects very well.
The Bakery is called “Chateau Gateau”
